Lagos · Nigerian catering for events

Food that makes a Lagos party
worth talking about on Monday.

We cook Nigerian food for weddings, birthdays, naming ceremonies, corporate lunches and the kind of small gathering where the food is the whole point. Smoky party jollof, small chops fried to order, soups that taste like somebody's mother is in the kitchen — because usually, she is.

What we cater

Every event gets its own plan. A 40-guest naming ceremony in Ikeja and a 300-guest wedding reception in Lekki are not the same job, and we don't treat them like they are. Tell us the date, the venue, the guest count and the mood you want, and we'll come back with a menu and a quote.

  • Weddings & receptions full service

Buffet or plated. Jollof and fried rice, a soup station, assorted meats, small chops passed during the cocktail hour, and a dessert table if you want one. We handle serving staff, chafing dishes and the clearing up.

  • Birthdays & celebrations from 20 guests

Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, house warmings. Bigger pots, more variety, and enough to send guests home with a takeaway plate — which in Lagos is not optional.

  • Naming ceremonies family style

Traditional spreads done properly: pounded yam and efo riro, amala and gbegiri, ofada with ayamase, moin moin, dodo, and the small chops tray that disappears first.

  • Corporate lunches & retreats weekdays

Office lunches, board meetings, staff parties, training days. Individually packed or buffet, delivered on time, with labels for anything that needs one. Invoiced properly for your finance team.

  • Intimate dinners 6–20 guests

Dinner at home for a small group, cooked and served in your kitchen or delivered in courses. A private chef evening without the restaurant noise.

  • Drop-off trays no staff

Just the food, packed hot and ready. Good for office Fridays, family gatherings and anyone who wants the cooking done without the full setup.

How it works

  1. 01

You tell us the shape of the day

Date, venue, guest count, time of day, and whether you want staff on site. A WhatsApp message is enough to start. If you have a budget in mind, say it — it saves us both a round of guessing.

  2. 02

We send a menu and a quote

Usually within [response time]. You'll get a written menu with portions worked out for your headcount, a quote, and notes on anything that needs a decision — like whether the venue allows on-site grilling.

  3. 03

Deposit, then we lock the date

A [deposit percentage] deposit holds your date. Balance is due [balance terms]. We'll confirm final numbers a few days before so we buy the right amount.

  4. 04

    We cook, deliver and serve

Food arrives hot and on time. If you've booked full service, our team sets up the buffet, serves, and clears away at the end. You eat at your own party — that's the point.

Why people book us

Cooked the day of, not the day before

Rice is cooked in batches on the morning of your event. Small chops are fried in stages through the day. It costs us more in labour and it's the difference between food people remember and food people tolerate.

Portions that actually feed people

We work out quantities per head based on the menu, not a flat rule. If you're serving three rice dishes and a soup station, you need less of each than you think — and we'll tell you when you're over-ordering.

We know Lagos venues

Traffic on the way to Ajah at 4pm, which halls have a working kitchen, which estates make you register the caterer in advance, where you can and can't set up a grill. That knowledge is part of the job.

One person answers your messages

You deal with the same person from the first enquiry to the last tray being cleared. No being handed to a different coordinator the day before your wedding.

What clients say

Most of our work comes from people who ate at somebody else's party and asked who cooked. Here's what a few of them said afterwards.

  • [Client quote — what they said about the food, the service, or the day itself. Two or three sentences is plenty.]

[Client name] · [Event type, area]

  • [Client quote — a line about how the planning went, or what guests said about a particular dish.]

[Client name] · [Event type, area]

  • [Client quote — ideally one from a corporate client or a repeat booking, since those carry the most weight with new enquiries.]

[Client name] · [Event type, area]

Send us the quotes you'd like shown — a screenshot from WhatsApp is fine, we'll tidy the wording. We only publish reviews with the client's permission, so tell us which names to use and which to leave off.

Questions we get a lot

How far in advance should I book?
For full service, [lead time] is comfortable. December and wedding season fill up faster — if your date is in that window, talk to us early. Smaller drop-off orders can sometimes be done with a few days' notice.
Do you deliver outside Lagos?
We cater across Lagos. For events in [nearby states], ask — it depends on the date and whether we can keep the food hot for the journey.
Can you cook for dietary needs?
Yes. Tell us about allergies, vegetarian guests, or anyone who can't eat pepper, and we'll plan around it. We'll be honest if a request is hard to do safely in a shared kitchen.
Do you provide plates, cutlery and chafing dishes?
Full service includes serving equipment and staff. For drop-off orders you can add disposables or hire chafing dishes from us — just say so when you enquire.
Can you do a tasting first?
For weddings and larger events, yes — [tasting terms]. For smaller orders we'll usually send photos of recent work instead.
How do payments work?
[Deposit percentage] deposit to hold the date, balance [balance terms]. Bank transfer, and we issue a proper receipt for corporate clients.
What if my guest count changes?
Small changes are usually fine. Tell us as early as you can — we buy fresh, so late changes affect what we can do.

Tell us about your event

Fill this in and it comes straight to us. The more detail you give — date, venue, guest count, what you're imagining — the faster we can send a real menu and quote back.
